| Rachelle Vargas, M.A.
Hi my name is Rachelle Vargas, and I have been in education for over 30 years. I have extensive experience working with children 3-12 years old. My journey began in Orange Unified School District as a Lead Teacher for the CARES after-school program; from there I became a School Readiness Coordinator overseeing our state preschool program, and then became the director of the Child Development Center. I have earned my BA in Child Development at Ashford University and then went on to earn my Masters in Education with a specialization in Family and Community. I’m a member of NAEYC, and I used to be a student here at Santa Ana College! I am also a proud mother of two grown daughters. My daughters have graduated college, one is an Occupational Therapist, and my younger daughter is a 2nd-grade elementary teacher. I am enthusiastic about Child Development, and can't wait to share my experience with you in the classroom.
