Hello
current and perspective Child Development students! My name is Jennette
Lona and I am excited to be part of the Career Technical Education
(CTE) Counseling Team! I provide academic and career counseling and
can’t wait to help you complete your goal(s). I began my educational
experience at Rio Hondo College and transferred to Cal Poly Pomona.
After CPP, I continued to pursue my Master’s degree in Counseling from
the University of La Verne. Prior to joining Santa Ana College, I worked
as a counselor for Rio Hondo and Citrus College. When I am away from
the office, I love to spend time with my two adult children and two dogs
named London and Paris. I also enjoy hiking, wine tasting, and
traveling to places I’ve never been before. My favorite vacation spot is
Maui! Fun fact about me: I have worked in the Community College system
for 25 years.
