Alycia McInnish comes to Santa Ana College with 25 years in the Early Childhood. She is also a mentor teacher for Santa Ana and local junior colleges. Currently she is a State Preschool teacher in the Anaheim Elementary School District. Alycia began her career at Child Development Centers where she was a toddler teacher. Following working at CDC Alycia was a State Preschool teacher and Head Start teacher in Santa Ana Unified School District. Alycia began her education at Santa Ana College in 1987. She obtained her BA in ECE from the University of La Verne. In January of 2018 Alycia earned her Master's degree in Education and Curriculum from Cal State Fullerton. As an ECE professional Alycia has earned the honor of receiving the Early Childhood Educator of the year award in 2014 and 2016 from OCAEYC. Alycia is passionate about nature and is an ambassador to the San Bernardino National Forest Service where she volunteers taking care of the trails in Big Bear. A huge nature lover, Alycia brings these experiences to the classroom through the care of living things. She is proud to be married for almost 25 years and has two sons. Alycia is excited to have come full circle and become an adjunct member her at SAC.​
