C-TAG for Future Educators
The Chapman Transfer Admission Guarantee (C-TAG) for Future Educators is specially designed for future elementary and special education teachers from Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College. Completion of the
C-TAG Pathway offers guaranteed admission into Chapman's
Integrated Educational Studies (IES) major.
Note: Santa Ana College's current C-TAG agreement will end following the Fall 2023 admissions cycle. Fall 2023 admits will be the last cohort to follow the existing agreement. For information and advisement, contact the Center for Teacher Education.
What is IES?
Chapman University's Integrated Educational Studies (IES) program explores the practice and theory of education in schools and in the community. IES offers early field experiences and opportunities to actively engage in and advocate for inclusive and supportive communities. The IES program develops future educators through culturally-responsive curriculum, critical and creative inquiry, and community collaborations. Aspiring teachers learn alongside and collaborate with students interested in nonprofit work, policy change, after-school programs, and businesses.
Is C-TAG for me?
C-TAG for Future Educators is designed for future elementary and special education teachers seeking to earn California multiple subject (elementary) or special education teaching credentials.
