REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
Enrolled @ SAC in at least 6 units during employment.
Ability and desire to understand and be empathetic towards students accessing basic needs.
FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES
Under the general direction of the position supervisor, the Pantry Assistant is responsible for the daily operations of the Thrive Center Food Pantry throughout the academic year. The position will engage in administrative and clerical activities to ensure the Food Pantry's operational needs are met.
Under the general direction of the position supervisor, the CalFresh Ambassador is responsible for working with SAC students to ensure equitable access to nutritious food resources. The position will primarily engage in outreach and clerical activities to increase participation in CalFresh. This position will promote the Thrive Center services and assist with CalFresh application submissions.
Under the general direction of the position supervisor, the Content Creator is responsible for designing marketing materials, publicizing upcoming events, and managing social media platforms. This position will require proficiency in Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and to stay current with social media trends.
