Teaching for Equity Conference, hosted by Pasadena City College Hixon Teacher Preparation Program, is FREE and open to both PCC students and the community. Only 150 spots are available, so register now!

The conference will have a keynote address by Eduardo Lopez, an Ethnic Studies and History educator, and 15+ different workshops including:
  • Ethnic Studies in Schools
  • Socio-Emotional Development in Early Childhood
  • Empowering Emergent Bilingual and Newcomer Students
  • Working with Foster Youth
  • Equity-Centered STEM and Tech Practices
  • Restorative Justice Practices
  • Working with Families and Communities
  • Social Justice Youth Practices Outside the Classroom (non-profits, etc.)
  • Finding a Job in Education Career Workshop
