Who is a New or Returning Student?

A new student is someone who has never attended either Santa Ana College (SAC) or Santiago Canyon College (SCC).  A returning student is a student who did not enroll for two full semesters (Fall or Spring), and now wishes to return.

Both new and returning student must fill out an application to the college by going to CCCApply (https://www.opencccapply.net/cccapply-welcome?cccMisCode=871) in order to be eligible to register for classes.  After applying to the college, student will receive an email confirmation from CCCApply.  A second email will be sent from SAC within 3 business days with important registration information.
