Go to sac.tracdat.com

Log in using your Webadvisor/Self-Service Credentials
3. After logging in, you should see your department’s courses on the front page
4. The search bar at the top of the page will show you the program or course page you are in. Click on the drop down arrow to see your other program(s) or course(s)
5. Make sure you are under Course SLOs (highlighted below). To review the Student Learning Outcomes, click on one of your courses that are displayed
6. Your SLOs will be displayed on this page. Review them to ensure the information is correct
Methods of assessment are the ways that faculty will test student knowledge of the material.
Note: in order to edit your Methods of Assessment, you must be under your Course SLOs (highlighted in image below). You will not be able to edit your methods of assessment if you are under a Program PLO
1. On the navigation bar, click on “Course planning”, then click “Course Assessment Plan” (both highlighted in the image below).
2. Click the dropdown arrow under the desired course SLO you wish to add Methods of assessment to. Then click on the “+” symbol next to methods of assessment. Both of these are highlighted in the image below
3. Fill in the information that is asked. Make sure the assessment is listed as active.
Choose an assessment type (exam/quiz, group project, written assignment, etc.)
Describe your assessment method. How will this assessment be given to the student
Choose your expected outcome. How many students do you expect to achieve this method
4. Click save, then return
After the period of assessment for the SLO has been completed, you can provide the results of the methods of assessment
Note 1: there must be a method of assessment input in order to provide results.
Note 2: in order to edit your results, you must be under your Course SLOs (highlighted in image below). You will not be able to edit your results if you are under a Program PLO.
1. On the left-hand navigation bar, click course planning, then results(both highlighted below)
2. Click the drop down menu on the method of assessment that you want to add results to. Then click on the “+” symbol to add the results (both highlighted below)
3. Complete the results of analysis, semester of assessment, and the criterion/target met.
4. Click save, then return
