Engineering Computer Laboratory (Room A-225)
This state-of-the-art computer lab is used for drafting/CAD instruction. It is equipped with 48 workstations (HP Z440, Intel Xeon E5-1650v3 3.3 Ghz, HP NVIDIA Quadro M4000 8Gb x 4xDP graphics card, 16 Gb RAM). A225 computers are loaded with all of the engineering CAD software: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Civil 3D, Revit; and CATIA.
Mechatronics Laboratory (Room A-214)
A214 is a mechatronics laboratory that is equipped with fabrication and rapid prototyping equipment so students can design and build a variety of mechatronics, robotics, electrical/electronic, or electro-mechanical projects.
Fabrication equipment: Ultimaker s5 & 3 3D-printers, Formlabs Form 2 SLA printers, laser cutters (Epilog Zing 30W, Epilog Helix 75W), Tormach CNC mill, Wabeco CNC lathe, Roland LPX600 laser scanner, drill press, and band saw.
Comprehensive set of tools and toolboxes,
Circuits & robotics equipment: Instek GDS 2072A oscilloscopes, BK precision function generators, DC power supplies, soldering stations, Elenco circuit trainers, digital multi-meters;
Supplies - robot kits, Arduino micro-controllers, sensors (gyroscope/accelerometers, light sensors, PIRs, QTI, ultrasonic ping, tilt, actuators (servo motors, DC gearhead motors, stepper, & brushless motor, pneumatics).
The lab is also equipped with laptops (HP ZBook, Intel Core i7-6700HQ, 4 core, 2.6 GHz, 8 Gb DDR 4 RAM, NVIDIA Quadro M2000M 4GB graphics card).
Instructional Classroom (Room A-216)
A216 is an instructional room with Ethernet ports and laptops (HP ZBook, Intel Core i7-6700HQ, 4 core, 2.6 GHz, 8 Gb DDR 4 RAM, NVIDIA Quadro M2000M 4GB graphics card)
NEW Mechatronics Laboratory (Room SC - 134)
Engineering is slated to move into its new Mechatronics Laboratory in the new Science Center (move-in date is not yet known). The room is equipped with high-end laptop computers, workstations, digital projection, compressed air, 220VAC, a storage room, dedicated soldering stations with snorkels. Part of the new SC building project includes new equipment including: Haas CM-1 CNC mill, Fanuc LR Mate robot arm, PLC mechatronics learning system, Instron tensile tester, Markforged Mark Two 3D printer (capable of printing in continuous carbon fiber), a hand-held Artec Spider 3D scanner, and new Tektronix oscilloscopes.
