Engineering Computer Laboratory (Room A-225)
This state-of-the-art computer lab is used for drafting/CAD instruction. It is equipped with 48 workstations (HP Z440, Intel Xeon E5-1650v3 3.3 Ghz, HP NVIDIA Quadro M4000 8Gb x 4xDP graphics card, 16 Gb RAM). A225 computers are loaded with all of the engineering CAD software: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit; Solidworks, and CATIA. The computer lab has a large format plotter and Dimension U-Print 3D printer.
Mechatronics Laboratory (Room A-214)
A214 is a mechatronics laboratory that is equipped with fabrication and rapid prototyping equipment so students can design and build a variety of mechatronics, robotics, electrical/electronic, or electro-mechanical projects. Fabrication equipment includes: Ultimaker 3 3D-printer, Ultimaker 5S 3D-printer, Airwolf Axiom 20 3D printer, Formlab Form 2 stereo lithography SLA printers, Epilog Zing 30W laser engraver, Epilog Helix 75W laser engraver/cutter, Tormach CNC mill, Intellitek Benchmill, Wabeco CNC lathe, Roland 3D scanner). The room is also supplied with robot kits (Parallax Shield BOT), Arduino micro-controllers, Raspberry Pi's, electric circuit trainers, oscilloscopes, function generators, DC power supplies, breadboards, and soldering stations; a variety of sensors (light, IR, inertial motion units (IMU's), QTI, light, ping, ultrasonic distance, gyroscope/accelerometer, tilt, PIR, and more), and actuators (servo motors, DC motors, DC stepper motors, pneumatics). The lab is also equipped with laptops (HP ZBook, Intel Core i7-6700HQ, 4 core, 2.6 GHz, 8 Gb DDR 4 RAM, NVIDIA Quadro M2000M 4GB graphics card).
