Engineering Computer Laboratory (Room A-225)
This state-of-the-art computer lab is used for drafting/CAD instruction. It is equipped with 48 workstations (HP Z440, Intel Xeon E5-1650v3 3.3 Ghz, HP NVIDIA Quadro M4000 8Gb x 4xDP graphics card, 16 Gb RAM). A225 computers are loaded with all of the engineering CAD software: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Civil 3D, and Revit.
NEW Engineering Equipment Laboratory
(Room SC-134)
SC-134 is a new Engineering Equipment/Mechatronics Laboratory in the new Science Center (opened Spring 2022). The lab is equipped with the equipment and supplies for a variety of engineering labs. This includes fabrication and rapid prototyping equipment for mechatronics, robotics, electrical/electronic, or electro-mechanical projects. The room is equipped with high-end laptop
computers (HP ZBook Power G7, i7 Quadro T1000 Max-Q), workstations, digital projection, compressed air, 220VAC, a
storage room, dedicated soldering stations with snorkels. Equipment includes: Haas CM-1 CNC
mill, Fanuc LR Mate robot arm, Amatrol Desktop Mechatronics (PLC) trainer, 2 laser cutters (Epilog Zing 30W, Epilog Helix 75W), Instron
tensile tester, a hand-held Artec 3D scanner, Ultimaker 3D-printers, drill press, and band saw. The lab has an extensive set of tools and toolboxes,
Circuits & robotics equipment: new Tektronix oscilloscopes, Instek GDS 2072A oscilloscopes, BK precision function generators, DC power supplies, soldering stations, Elenco circuit trainers, digital multi-meters;
Supplies - robot kits, Arduino micro-controllers, a variety of sensors (light, gyroscope/accelerometers, PIRs, QTI, ultrasonic ping) and actuators (servo motors, DC gearhead motors, stepper, & brushless motor, pneumatics).
Surveying equipment: Nikon DTM-322 total station, Nikon NE-1000 digital transit, and accessories
