Per California Education Code Section 66271.2, Lance Lockwood (lockwood_lance@sac.edu), professor of Communication Studies, is the designated LGBTQIA2S+ liaison for students and staff. As the liaison, Lance is a point of contact for the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, two-spirit, plus faculty, staff, students, and administrators. Lance will provide support, explain the process, and assist with reporting incidents of bullying, harassment, or intimidation based on a person’s real or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.
