My heartfelt concern and support are with our students and colleagues who are affected by the acts of violence and chaos taking place in Israel and Gaza. People are experiencing vile acts against humanity and loss of life – this violence is incomprehensible. My heart is mournful, and I hope for healing and peace for everyone impacted by these despicable acts.
Please know the college offers personal counseling resources for students who may be having difficulties managing their reactions to these recent events. Students can visit the Health & Wellness Center located in JSC-110 to request a confidential appointment for physical or mental health services. For more information, call (714) 564-6216.
We also offer an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) through Health Advocate for employees. To access EAP services, please call (866) 799-2728. Services are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
