Biology Degree
The associate degree in biological science prepares students for preprofessional careers and a curriculum in a four-year institution leading to a baccalaureate degree in such areas as microbiology, botany, zoology, molecular biology and teaching. The biologist is also prepared to enter graduate or professional programs of specialized study such as medicine, dentistry, medical technology, osteopathy, veterinary medicine, agriculture, forestry, optometry, cell biology, molecular biology and dental hygiene.
