From Santa Ana to Saudi Arabia, SAC Alumnus Shines
In 2007, Tatyana Aguirre was one of SAC's first students to complete articulated International Business courses at Villa Park High School. Today, she holds the title of Commercial Consul at the U.S. Consulate in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Her story is nothing short of remarkable and demonstrates what the tenacity of one student, combined with the power of community partnerships, can achieve. Upon completing her AA degree at SAC and successfully passing the CGBP (Certified Global Business Professional) credential exam in 2008, Tatyana transferred to Cal Poly Pomona's International Business department under the articulation agreement with SAC and ultimately received her MBA from USC. As one of SAC's first interns at the U.S. Commercial Service in Irvine in 2009, she turned that internship into a full career. In her newest role, Tatyana is responsible for overseeing the Commercial Service Dhahran office, which includes the country-wide leads for Energy and Information and Communications Technology (ICT), as well as managing a partnership post in Manama, Bahrain. We are so proud to call Tatyana one of SAC's own and congratulate her on this incredible accomplishment!
