(Santa Ana, CA) – The Santa Ana College Foundation (SACF) has appointed Juan Gonzalez and Jamie Pirritano to its board of directors. The foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, raises funds to support Santa Ana College (SAC) and its students through the leadership of a 21-member volunteer board.
As a graduate of SAC and current public affairs manager for Southern California Gas Company, Gonzalez serves as the liaison between Southern California Gas Company and state and federal legislative officials. His territory spans from Lake Forest to San Clemente, including the City of Santa Ana and unincorporated areas of Orange County.
Pirritano, a graduate of SAC’s Fire Academy, formerly served on the SAC Foundation Board from 2013-2016. During his tenure, he successfully created the Fire Academy Fund to raise money for students in need of financial assistance. In addition to currently serving as a full-time firefighter for the Corona Fire Department, Pirritano runs a successful real estate business in Orange County that serves all of Southern California.
“Both Mr. Gonzalez and Mr. Pirritano bring talent, energy, and passion to the SACF Board leadership team,” stated Rossina Gallegos, SACF Board President. “I know that these outstanding individuals will be of great value as we continue to strategically grow the Foundation to best serve the needs of our students, faculty and administration.”
