Santa Ana, CA – On Dec. 17, 2024 The Santa Ana College football team was honored by the Santa Ana City Council for their successful football season. Their season included a Western State Bowl victory over LA Southwest College. Councilmember Phil Baccera gave special recognition to SAC Football where President Dr. Annebelle Nery, Athletics Director Mary Hegarty, Coach Johnnie Peeples, and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Jeffrey Lamb received the certificate of recognition and celebrated this accomplishment.
President Dr. Annebelle Nery shared, "We are so proud of our SAC Football team winning two bowl championships in a row. Our athletics program, staff, leadership, coaches, and student athletes have done an incredible job!
