Dear SAC Community,
The Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) and Santa Ana College were recently referenced in a news article regarding an adjunct instructor’s personal beliefs related to gender identity in early childhood and child innocence. We would like to make clear this organization does not condone any form of attack on childhood and child innocence. The RSCCD community college courses in Child Development and Education Studies do not address nor teach gender studies, nor has this individual had input or contribution to our current college curriculum.
As the Rancho Santiago Community College District and Santa Ana College move to investigate this concern, we remain dedicated to the education, safety and the protection of innocence to the children we serve, as well as the children of the community at large.
