Facilitate presentations to K-12 Schools which consists of three sessions
Participate in community and school events such as College & Resources Fairs
Facilitate presentations and parents' orientations
Santa Ana College campus tours
Staff Higher Education Centers, Santa Ana Public Library and Mexican Consulate
Outreach using non-traditional methods such as home visits and promoting out in the community
Inspire, Transform, and empower families to achieve Higher Education
Higher Education alternatives and resources within families and K-12 students
Promote Santa Ana College and resources such as adult classes, credit classes and high school programs
Inform parents on California K-12 educational system and Higher Education options (A-G, GPA, Financial Aid, Universities and Community Colleges)
Encourage parents to participate in their children's education
Camino De Amistad:
"Camino de Amistad" is an annual event designed to increase visibility of higher education in the community of Santa Ana and to help new high school students prepare for the year ahead.
500 volunteers distributed 30,000 door-hangers
All parents attend volunteer recognition lunch
Opportunities to renew motivation to help children prepare for college
Offer Secondary Grade Students Community Service hours for Camino De Amistad event
