What is SACDays?

SACDays (Success at College) is a free mini conference for ​new and continuing students.  It is designed to provide information and strategies to help students be successful. The morning will consist of in-person workshops followed by a CAP Discovery Fest on the mall that also includes free lunch, giveaways, and campus/class tours.  Beginning at 2:00 pm, there will be various online workshops available for students to attend.  Topics will include tips for college success, health and wellness, financial aid, and campus resources.  SACDays will get them to help them to get the semester for good start. 

• Student Success Presentations: 9:00-11:00 AM: students can choose to attend two in-person presentations (College Promise Program, Financial Aid, or  Student Panel).
  
• CAP Discovery Fest: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: students can meet faculty and get information about different programs of study as well as Career and Academic Pathways (CAP); and campus tours will be provided from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM.
  
• ​Online Workshops for Student Success: 2:00-6:00 PM: students can attend a variety of online workshops  related to college success.  Virtual workshops can be accessed from your personal computer or computers in the Learning Center on the third floor of Dunlap Hall, Room D-307.​
