Student Leadership Institute
The Student Leadership Institute, a partnership effort between SAC and CSUF, is a certificated leadership training program that has been in existence for over 10 years. Students are required to take 9 workshops over two days covering a range of leadership development topics. Previous workshops included:
Culture and Gender
Diverse Community
Effective Leadership
Public Speaking
Marketing Your Leadership Abilities
Time Management
Creating Networks & Interviewing Skills
Ethical Decision Making
Teamwork and Collaboration
All workshops are one or two hours in length and will be conducted by skilled and trained professionals from the greater Santa Ana area and SAC community. The mission of SLI is to provide essential leadership skills development so that graduates can build from this core foundation and apply these skills in their college and future professional careers.
