The associate degree curriculum in
English is designed to develop proficiency in written communication and in the understanding of human nature through the study of language and literature.  Completion of the degree program prepares students to pursue a major in English leading to a baccalaureate degree.
 

 

Major requirements for the Associate in Arts degree

*12 units of electives should be selected from any 200 or above English language or literature class including those above not taken as part of the 6-unit requirement.
