Thousands of home & commercial owners are looking for "Solar Installers" to install solar panels on their roof-tops. Experienced solar installers are doing the same kind of work as independent contractors. In fact, independent contractor positions are in high demand; 65% of solar installation is done by independent solar installers. This course will prepare participants to design and install solar photovoltaics on roof-tops and information on solar power storage systems. Class topics include solar, electrical, solar storage systems, and city codes as well as electrical wiring.
A $20 material fee is payable via Venmo or Paypal. Optional opportunity to receive hands-on training in a real-world installation setting is available upon request, after successful completion of the course. Registered students will receive a Zoom login prior to the start of course.
