Description:

This course will cover all sections of the NEW SAT including Math, Writing and Critical Reading. Emphasis of the course will be on content as well as strategy. Students will have opportunity to review the fundamental mathematical, vocabulary, critical thinking, reading, writing as well as organizational skills essential for success on the SAT. Instruction will also include the essential planning and strategic skills needed for success such as: process of elimination, use of key words, time management, productive guessing, and many more. Students will also gain confidence and gain skills for overcoming test anxiety. Students will receive a copy of the College Board's Official SAT study guide. Students should bring pen, pencil, calculator and sack lunch. FOR TEST DATES: 8/24/19
