Description:
Come and join this fun and hands-on biology workshop for kids! Learn about soil science, plant science, garden insects, and more in the morning. learn about some creepy and crawly topics, from animals like bats and spiders to skeleton in the afternoon. Your child will be up close and personal with live plants and critters, preserved organisms, perform some dissections and engage in cool biology experiments using lab equipment/tools.

List to do/wear/bring:
1. Parents are welcome to join us for $8 with advanced notice (limit 1 parent per family). Limited space available.
2. If any parent or guardian is also attending, please submit the Waiver form by Wednesday 7/31. Choose the “Adult and Minor” option in the beginning of the Waiver form.
3. No parking fee for OC Food Farm & Lab lot. Parking is limited, so carpooling is suggested. Parking is free, however please keep in mind hat parking in these lots fill up quickly on weekends.
4. Please make sure your child wears sports or walking shoes and NO sandals. A hat is recommended.
5. It is a one-hour field trip, but your child is welcome to bring a bottle of water for the trip.
6. Have them wear sunscreen right before the field trip. We will spend most of our time touring outside.
7. Please label all your child’s items with your child’s name. We are not responsible for the lost items.
8. You can contact us during the field trip ONLY if it’s urgent at (949)288-1486. We want to make sure we have our full attention on the children during the trip and are not distracted by phone calls.
