This Secretary of State approved class will prepare you to take the exam again by reviewing all relevant Notary law. You will take the official notary exam directly following the class. Renewing Notaries are required to take the exam and be fingerprinted again. Your commission must be current to qualify. Special Notice for all Notary classes: Since 2021, the notary exam has become more demanding. You will receive valuable studying materials in advance to assure that you're prepared as possible. Renewing notaries must take the exam before their commission expires, otherwise they must take a six-hour seminar.
A material fee of $35 is payable to the instructor. No one will be admitted after 12:45 p.m.
- Participants receive 2 practice tests and will take the official Notary exam directly following the class.
- A $35 material fee covers Seminar Guidebook, SOS handbook, Proof of Completion and notary application.
- Due to State regulations, no one will be admitted to the classroom after 8:15 a.m. You must return from breaks on time.
- Proof of completion (issued after class) - Proofs are valid for two years for first time notaries. Live scan fingerprints required after you pass the exam. Serious conviction may disqualify applicant.
