What is ULink?
University Link (ULink) is a transfer success program where first-year students participate in a learning community focused on establishing academic and social support networks throughout their first year at Santa Ana College. This program is open to all students who are interested in transferring to any 4-year university and meet program eligibility.

3.0 High School GPA

Interested in transferring to any university

Eligible for English C1000 or English C1000H (Fall)*

Eligible for English C1001, English C10001H, or History 124 (Spring)*

ULink Program Requirements
All students must:
-
Maintain full-time status (12 units or more) **Less than full-time enrollment may be considered for eligible DSPS students.

Meet with a ULink counselor at least once every semester to create/update an Educational Plan

Complete 50 hours of Service Learning
-
Complete transfer preparation courses within 3 years
-
Do not add or drop classes without talking to a ULink counselor

Attend all required ULink activities or events
Service Learning Requirements

All ULink students are required to complete 100 hours before transferring to the university.

All students must attend an orientation with Service Learning in L-222. Please call 714-564-6254 for more information.

During the orientation, students will receive important information on Service Learning placement, complete a Service Learning application and receive forms for placement site.

Students are able to participate in ULink specific activities (see calendar of activities) along with the placement site.

Submit forms to Service Learning office in the Career Center (L-222)

Students who volunteer 100+ hours over a period of 12 months at a registered non-profit agency can receive the U.S. President's Volunteer Service Award or Santa Ana College President's Volunteer Service Award.

University Link (ULink) Program 15-minute Classroom Presentations are now available! The University Link Program is a transfer success cohort-based program dedicated to providing catered support and networking opportunities to first-year college students who are interested in transferring to any 4-year university and meet program eligibility.
We believe in the process of learning communities and support-networks for students. In a continual effort to make SAC students successful in their academic careers, we would greatly appreciate and encourage participation.
Kindly fill out the online request form. We will do our best to accommodate to your schedule. Our program support staff will review, schedule, and confirm all requests via email.
