What is Dual Enrollment?
Dual enrollment is an exciting and unique opportunity for all high school students to earn FREE TRANSFERABLE college credit through Santa Ana College.
-
High school students (also known as special admit students) can take college courses taught at their high school, at SAC, on the weekends, or online through Dual Enrollment.
-
Enrollment Fee Waiver for Special Admit Students
-
Regular Special Admit part-time students enrolled in fewer than 12 units during the semester will have their Enrollment Fee waived.
-
CCAP Special Admit part-time students from CCAP partner schools will have their Enrollment Fee waived when enrolled in 15 units or fewer, across no more than 4 courses, during the fall and spring semesters.
-
Students who exceed the applicable unit (or course) limit for their admit type will be charged the current Enrollment Fee for all enrolled units, not just the units over the limit.
-
-
-
Students who are currently enrolled in grades K-8 must obtain approval from the appropriate Santa Ana Academic Division Dean. Please contact the Dual Enrollment Office to assist with this process.
-
Adult School/Continuing Ed Center (CEC) students must obtain approval from a CEC Counselor who will establish their eligibility for Adult Dual Enrollment. Please contact the SCE counseling office for an appointment or reach out to the Dual Enrollment Office for more information.
