Emmy-Award winning professor Michael Taylor Chairs the TV/Video Department and heads the Broadcast Journalism program at Santa Ana College. Michael's experience includes Executive Producer for KRBC-TV (NBC) News in Texas before serving as KOCE-TV (PBS) News Director for "Real Orange" for 14 years! At Real Orange Michael oversaw the entire newsroom operatio​​​n, managing editorial and production staff. Michael enjoys maintaining strong ties with a dynamic group of Southern California media professionals.

Stephanie Clark is Associate​ Professor of Digital Media Arts at Santa Ana College. She joined SAC in 2014 and currently teaches within the Digital Media Arts and Photography areas of the Art Department. Stephanie has had solo exhibitions at Rice University, the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, and Houston’s Fresh Arts’ ARC Gallery, in addition, her photographic work has been included in exhibitions held in D.C., Arlington, Houston, Dallas, and Rochester. 

Professor Clark is a passionate educator whose pedagogical and artistic interests straddle the exciting boundaries between traditional and new media practices within contemporary art. She has a special interest in foundation-level curriculum development, with extensive experience expanding the breadth of visual arts programs to include digital applications for a more diverse studio practice. Professor Clark studied at Rice University, where she earned her B.A. in Visual Arts, and received her M.F.A. from Rochester Institute of Technology in Imaging Arts. Her interests in the field of visual arts are varied and broad, having worked in the traditional studio for many years before moving into photography and then digital imaging. Her own artwork examines the inherent cultural need to associate storytelling with images, while her work in the classroom focuses on developing students’ professional skills for the marketplace and incorporating an artistic and cultural understanding of image-making.

Adjunct Professor Ezra Lunel

Ezra Lunel is a producer, director, editor and camera operator who has worked in production and development at CNN, ESPN, PBS, Lifetime Television, River Road Entertainment, Future Film Group, and KUSI-TV in San Diego, as well as on dozens of independent shorts and feature films since 2004. Ezra has been teaching Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Screenwriting and Film History courses at Santa Ana College since the Fall of 2015. He is fluent in Spanish and speaks conversational French. 

Adjunct Professor Jim Stevens

Jim Stevens is an independent filmmaker and photographer born and raised in Santa Ana, California. Often he writes, directs, and produces film productions while financing them himself. Jim is also hired as a professional cinematographer and editor for various business corporations and other fellow independent filmmakers. He is known for teaching film and elective photography classes at the Orange County School of the Arts (OCSA) and continues to produce film productions every year. 

John Hall

 As a professional filmmaker, Professor John Hall worked on over 75 projects as a camera assistant, gaffer and stop-motion animator.  Professor Hall, as a member of the International Cinematographers guild – Local 600, worked under many critically acclaimed cinematographers including Andrzej Sekula (Pulp Fiction, American Psycho), Dave Klein (Chasing Amy, Pushing Daisies) and Chris Duddy (Titanic, Sum of all Fears). He also served as the Director of Photography on 14 independent feature films.  He has been an educator since 2005. 

Mauro Rosales Jr.

Video tech at The Digital Media Center. As a student at Santa Ana College he received the Broadcast Journalist of the year award while working for AAOC /NLCO News. He has a BA in Digital Media and Television production from CSUDH and works as a freelance Videographer and Editor

Nancy Mendoza

Nancy Mendoza is a Video Technician at the Digital Media Center. As a former student of Santa Ana College, she produced the student news program. She has an Associate Degree in TV/Journalism and various certifications in Computer Science and Networking.
