What is Respondus LockDown Browser?

Getting Started

  1. You need to have a webcam and microphone (internal or external). Laptop cameras/microphones are fine to use.

  2. If you don't have a webcam, you can:

  3. Borrow one from the Digital Don Laptop Loan Program.

  4. Use the Academic Computing Center (ACC)​ quiet room for test taking with Proctorio.

  5. If the instructor has required LockDown Browser for an exam, students can download, install, and use LockDown Browser to take online test. Additional LockDown Browser: The Student Experience

Respondus Technical Support

Respondus Technical Support available at Respondus Support. Respondus has Live Chat Help. It is available within LockDown Browser when using the webcam proctoring feature (also called Respondus Monitor). Chat agents can assist you with pre-exam issues related to the webcam and microphone.
