Professional Development

Professional Development hours for Canvas can be earned through Workshops, and online training courses.

Canvas Tech Sessions

For new and experienced online faculty.
Join us for a 30 min tech session on topics related to teaching online. These sessions will help you align your course with specific areas of the CVC-OEI Rubric.
Faculty can claim 1/2 hour of professional development credit for each session.
You can access these sessions through our SAC Faculty DE Resources & Policies Canvas Course.

• Training​
• Training opportunity on TechConnect Zoom for Faculty. Each training focuses on the basics of TechConnect Zoom, although the trainer may be able to answer some advanced questions as well.
• Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
  
• Tuesdays, and Thursdays 9:00 am - 10:00 am
  
• Each session is approximately 40 minutes with 20 minutes at the end for questions.
