​Service Learning Program Overview

Service Learning is an experiential learning opportunity where students to explore their major and Career & Academic Pathway by volunteering and contributing to the community while also developing their networking and professional skills.

The Career Center provides assistance with locating suitable sites for service learning opportunities.​ Students may track volunteer hours through the Career Center upon submitting the Service Learning placement form and time sheet.​

The President's Volunteer Service Award

Students who volunteer 100+ hours over a period of 12 months at a registered non-profit agency are eligible to receive the Santa Ana College President's Volunteer Service Award. ​​​
