The Cares Funding Application is now closed. 

​​Those who qualified should start to receive funds after April 25th. 

​​Eligibility Requirements:

        1) Santa Ana College School of Continuing Education must be your Home School for the 2023/2024 academic year.​

        2) You must be a current student, actively taking classes in one of the following programs:

    • English as a Second Language
    • Career Education (excluding overview classes)
      High School Diploma
      HiSET/GED Preparation
      Adult Basic Education (ABE)

    • 3) Student must have good attendance & participation

Disclaimer:
CARES funds are non-taxable and to assist students not eligible for government aid. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), enacted on March 27, 2020, includes a provision that excludes qualified “emergency financial aid grants” from a student's gross income.​ 


Cash for Credit (Applies only to credit site and not at Centennial Education Center or other non-credit classes)
Students taking a minimum of 6 credits with Santa Ana College can apply for Cash for Credit​ to earn $50 per credit.

*Students cannot receive financial aid from both Continuing Education and Cash for Credit.​

​​Payment Distribution

​​Funds will be distributed​​​ ​to students via BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution powered by BMTX, Inc. ​Please make sure your address is correct in your registration record. Funds will not be reissued for lost/uncashed checks. Students can review their fund status through Self-Service​ or by contacting the BMTX, Inc. Team by visiting: https://vibe.bmtx.com/#contact-us​. 

You risk NOT getting a check this semester if your address is incorrect. 

Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
