Earn an Associate Degree for Transfer in the Administration of Justice
The Associate in Science in Administration of Justice for Transfer (AS-T) prepares students to complete a baccalaureate degree in Criminal Justice.
Completion of the AS-T degree provides guaranteed admission with junior status to the CSU system, although does not guarantee admission to a specific campus or major. Upon completion of the AS-T in Administration of Justice students will have a greater understanding of the operation of the criminal justice system from arrest, trial, corrections, and release into the community. Upon completion of the AS-T degree in Administration of Justice, students may pursue careers with the following types of criminal justice agencies: (a) law enforcement, (b) probation, (c) corrections, (d) courts, and (e) agencies with legal authority of specific criminal offenses, such as alcohol beverage control or fraud.
