Santa Ana College Will Hold In-Person Graduation at Angel Stadium of Anaheim and Welcome Home SAC Alumni, Ambassador Gaddi Vasquez
SANTA ANA, CA – Santa Ana College is proud to host an in-person graduation at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on June 1st, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. An in-person graduation has been an important topic of discussion regarding COVID-19 restrictions and regulations needed for the event. The graduation will also welcome SAC Alumni, Ambassador Gaddi Vasquez as the guest speaker at the upcoming graduation commencement, virtually. Vasquez has served as Senior Vice President of Government Affairs for Edison International and Southern California Edison.
“Santa Ana College is grateful to have the opportunity to provide an in-person graduation for students accompanied by their families at Angel Stadium. Many of our students have expressed their concerns over not being able to celebrate their special moment in-person rather than virtually," says Dr. Marilyn Flores, Santa Ana College Interim President. “SAC wants to honor those students by celebrating their accomplishments in the best way we could in-person."
Santa Ana College commencement ceremonies will adhere to the state's existing guidelines for outdoor seated events and gatherings. Attendees will be required to wear masks and attend in single household units. Santa Ana College graduates will be contacted with additional commencement details.
