The move to Santa Ana Stadium brings the ceremony back to the heart of the city after three years at Angel Stadium in Anaheim.
“With our 109-year legacy of transforming lives in this community and preparing the next generation of professionals, we are so proud to celebrate with our 2024 graduating class at Santa Ana Stadium in the heart of Santa Ana, near our historic campus," said Dr. Annebelle Nery, president of SAC. “I join our faculty and staff in congratulating all our graduates."
The theme for this year's Commencement Ceremony is “The Transformative Power of Education" and graduation speakers will include the valedictorians from SAC's credit and noncredit programs, as well as a graduate from the bachelor's degree program for Occupational Studies.
“These outstanding students are perfect examples of how a SAC education can transform lives, providing more than just a degree," Nery said. “Whether students seek career training or a university transfer, Santa Ana College provides affordable courses and degree programs that enable students to power our local economy as the employees, homeowners, business leaders and philanthropists of the future."
