Hundreds of happy holiday guests attended the December 4th Pageant of the Trees hosted for the fifth consecutive year by title sponsor First American Corporation. The event generated a record-setting net of
$41, 848.43 to benefit Santa Ana College students and programs.
At the age of 21, Tony Bucio came to this country from Mexico to work with his uncle repairing cars. An only child raised since age one by a single mom, he wanted to find a good job and help out his hard-working mother.
On December 28, 2007, Santa Ana College said farewell to one of its most beloved administrative officers, with the retirement of Thom B. Hill from the post of Dean of the Fine and Performing Arts Division. For the past 17 years, Thom has been responsible for the disciplines of art, dance, journalism, music, photography, speech communications, television/video and theatre.
