Engineering and Applied Sciences Club
The SAC Engineering and Applied Sciences Club is committed to creating a vibrant and supportive community where students can confidently apply their knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. By fostering a culture of peer-to-peer learning and offering mentorship from experienced members, we provide hands-on opportunities that go beyond the theoretical concepts taught in the classroom. Our goal is to expose students to the engineering world outside of classrooms, develop practical problem-solving skills, and build a strong professional network.
What We Do
- Technical Workshops: Our workshops are open to all students, providing hands-on exposure to industry-standard software such as MATLAB, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD—no prior experience required!
- Field Trips: We organize exclusive tours of engineering and manufacturing facilities, giving members a firsthand look at professional environments and large-scale infrastructure.
- Professional Readiness: We focus on your success beyond the classroom by providing resume-building opportunities, networking events, and the technical skills needed to stand out for internships.
