Jacqueline Schlossman, Assistant Professor of Photography
Professor Schlossman began her tenure track faculty position at
Santa Ana College in 2019. She has an MFA in Photography and
Electronic Imaging from Maryland Institute College of Art and a BA
from Sarah Lawrence College. While her roots are in traditional,
darkroom photography, she has extensive experience in digital
photography and design. Having worked in all aspects of the New
York City photography world, from fine art to commercial, she
brings a wide array of experience to SAC’s students. Her
photographic art projects primarily focus on critical landscape
studies, which have been published and exhibited nationally. She is
also an active, professional portrait and event photographer. Her
curriculum emphasizes literacy in the technical, formal and creative
languages of photography.
