FAQs for 2024 Commencement at Santa Ana Stadium
In an effort to share information on Santa Ana College's 2024 Commencement ceremony we've developed a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding the event. We will continue to update this page so please check back for updates.

What is the date and time for the Commencement?
Do we need to register to attend, and will there be a registration deadline?
How do I know if I am eligible to participate?
If you are an eligible Summer '23, Fall '23, Intersession '24, Spring '24, or Summer '24 graduate, you will be able to participate in the 2024 ceremony. Please contact the Graduation Office to see if you are eligible
Do I need to wear a cap and gown?
How can I purchase my cap & gown?
Does a graduating student need a ticket?
No, a graduating student will not need a ticket. However, graduates need to register for the ceremony in this link by May 9th. Graduates are required to wear a cap and gown and present identification day of the ceremony.
Can graduating students pick up additional tickets for their guests?
There is still a limited supply of Commencement tickets. Thus, graduates may pick up Commencement tickets, regalia, and diploma covers from the Santa Ana College Bookstore, Tuesday, June 4, 9am-7pm.
Graduates who have not already picked up 2 additional tickets, may pick up 2 additional tickets. Graduates who missed the first round of distribution of the initial set of 6 tickets will only receive 2 tickets. No more than 2 additional tickets per graduate. Graduates can swap/share with each other. Tickets will only be disbursed to the graduating student. Photo identification required.
What time do graduates need to arrive?
Will graduation photos be available the day of the ceremony?
Professional photographers (GradImages) will be available at Commencement.
May we wear heels?
Pointed heels are not allowed on the field. If you are wearing pointed heels, you will not be able to participate in the ceremony. Block, wedge, or square heels are allowed.
