Rising Scholars Program
The Rising Scholars Program at Santa Ana College serves students impacted by the criminal justice system. The mission of the program is to ensure that students achieve their education goals and feel supported as they transition into the college environment by providing onboarding support services and intensive monitoring and mentoring services.
PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY: Formerly incarcerated or system impacted (person negatively affected by the incarceration of a close relative).
SERVICES PROVIDED: Individualized Academic Counseling, Textbook and School Supplies Assistance, Fee Waivers, Priority Enrollment, Enrichment Workshops and Orientations, Expungement Clinics, Student Resource List and Support, Financial Resources, Career and Job Support, Student Center (with computers to use during hours of operation).

To make a counseling appointment, please call (714) 564-6148 and ask for a RISING SCHOLARS APPOINTMENT. Meet with our counselor to create an education plan, update your education plan, decide on a major, and petition for graduation.
