Printing and Photocopying
and photocopying services are available in the library using a student
ID card or guest card. Student ID cards are issued in the Student Business Office on campus during regular business hours (generally Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) or after hours at Admissions & Records located on the 1st
floor of the Administration Building (generally Monday-Thursday 5:00
p.m. - 6:45 p.m.). Guest cards can be purchased at Add Value Stations
located near the Reference Desk or in the Periodicals Reading Room inside the library.
Black and white printing/copies: 08¢ per page
Color printing/copies: 50¢ per page
There is no cost for scanning.
Adding Value to Student ID Cards
To add value to the student ID card using cash or coins, swipe the card at an Add
Value Station and insert money. The Add Value Station accepts the
following denominations: .05¢, .10¢, .25¢, $1, $5, $10, and $20. The Add
Value Station does not return change and does not accept debit/credit
To add value to a student ID card using Paypal or a debit/credit card, go to Student Online Print Services and login using a WebAdvisor username and password. Click “Add Funds," select Paypal,
credit card, or debit card as a payment option, and follow the
instructions on the screen. A minimum of $5 is required to add value to
the Student ID card online. It may take up to 10 minutes for funds to
appear on the student ID account.
Adding Value to Guest Cards
$1 bill is required for the purchase of a new guest card; 50 cents goes
towards the purchase of the guest card, while the remaining balance can
be used for printing, photocopying, or scanning. Add Value Stations
accept the following monetary amounts: 05¢, 10¢, 25¢, $1, $5, $10, and
$20. Add Value Stations do not return change. Adding value with
debit/credit card is not available for guest cards. Guest cards are
recommended for patrons who do not own a student ID card. Santa Ana
College is not responsible for any loss of funds due to theft, abuse, or
loss of this card.
The library cannot provide change for bills larger than $5.
Student Online Print Services
SAC students can upload documents to college printers from personal computers connected to the internet using Student Online Print Services. After logging in using a WebAdvisor
username and password, click on the “Upload" button to select the
desired document(s). The screen will display the uploaded documents,
which can then be selected on a printer station.
