SAC Promise Program
Santa Ana College (SAC) Promise is an initiative of the Santa Ana Partnership and has expanded to serve all first-time freshmen. The goal of the program is to support students who would like to attain a certificate, AA degree and/or transfer to a four-year university by providing free tuition for your first-year studies. It’s Complicated: Me, AI, and Academic Integrity
In this interactive session, students will explore what generative AI is and how it’s commonly used in academic settings. They’ll learn to identify when AI tools can support their learning—and when their use crosses ethical lines. Students will get hands-on experience with an AI tool, reflect on its benefits and limitations, and gain guidance on how to properly cite AI-generated content while upholding academic integrity policies.

The Stories We Tell Ourselves: Recognizing and Overcoming Imposter Syndrome
This interactive workshop helps you explore how imposter syndrome shows up in school and life, especially for first-gen, low-income, and underrepresented students. You'll learn how to spot it, challenge it, and build confidence—both for yourself and those you support. Walk away with strategies to rewrite the stories you tell yourself and help others do the same.
