The mission of the Philosophy Department at Santa Ana College is to help students improve their critical thinking and writing skills, and to help them understand and reflect upon the major questions presented throughout the history of philosophy concerning issues relating to knowledge and belief, morality and ethics, the nature of persons and minds, and the human condition.
