The MLC and BLSA are proud to continue the second of a four part series entitled, "Black Male Leadership in the Law".
This series is dedicated to empowering and educating Black men in pursuit of or already within their legal careers. Several Black male Pepperdine Caruso School of Law (PCSOL) alumni are leaders either in a local, regional or national level, and these men serve as models for our next generation of accomplished leaders. Through discussions with various accomplished and distinguished speakers, this four part series aims to connect current Pepperdine Caruso School of Law Black male students, Black male alumni, and other Black men interested in pursuing a Juris Doctor at Pepperdine or elsewhere, by the uplifting and sharing of common experiences and notable achievements. This series is open to the entire PCSOL community.
The first part of this series explored the intersection between our race, and leadership, within the legal field. The second part of this series will discuss the intersection between our race, and postbar employment within the legal field. This series will be chaired by:
Mr. Terrence Williams (JD '11), Mr. Isaac Agyeman (JD '16), and Mr. Derek Smith (JD '19).
Professor Bernie James will give the invocation blessing at the start of the discussion.
