OCTOBER NATURALIZATION CLINIC
On Saturday October 29th, the Legal Studies department facilitated a naturalization clinic for Congressman Lou Correa in the Academic Computing Center. There were 70 clients, 28 volunteers (10 from SAC). CHIRLA paid naturalization fees of $725 on the spot, so approx. $50,000 immediate public benefit! Pictures below are SAC students at work under attorney supervision. There were 6 community attorneys. We had SCE outreach there with ESL and HiSet info.
