Ali Kowsari is the Assistant Professor of Marketing in the Global Business and Entrepreneurship department at Santa Ana College; and the Chairman of Namvers, Inc., a global trade and distribution company based in Irvine, California. Ali has over 20 years' experience in international sales and global marketing, new market penetration, negotiation, and consulting. He has diverse global business experience in various fields including consumer goods; food and commodities; consumer electronics; and hi-tech supply chains and networks. He has done business and traveled extensively in Europe, China, Middle East, and Latin America. He has an MBA from UC Irvine's Paul Merage School of Business, and also holds a Master's of Science Degree in Electronic Commerce, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering. He is currently earning his Doctorate in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University. Ali is a Certified Global Business Professional (CGBP).

Gabriel Shweiri is the department chair of Global Business & Entrepreneurship at Santa Ana College. He has been a member of the advisory committee as well as a faculty member at Santa Ana College for over 20 years.
Gabriel has been a member of NASBITE International for 10 years and is currently serving on the NASBITE Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
In 1999 he and a partner established BGI Worldwide Logistics, a global logistics provider with locations across the US and global partnerships assisting their clients logistics requirements on a global scale. Gabriel has held several positions within the global logistics industry since 1989. He is currently President and CEO of BGI Worldwide Logistics.
As a subject matter expert, Gabriel has been at keynote speaker at several industry events including the American Bar Association LRIS conference as well as at an import/export summits, SBDC and CITD events and as a consultant for ExporTech.
Gabriel earned his master's degree in International Management from Thunderbird, the American Graduate School of International Management in Arizona. He also holds a BA from the George Washington University in International Affairs.
Gabriel is a Certified Global Business Professional and well as a certified CGBP Trainer.
Madeline Grant, BS, MBA

Prof. Madeline Grant has been teaching at Santa Ana College for 35 years. She is returning to the classroom after serving as the Dean of the Business Division from 2014-2022. She has earned her Certified Global Business Profession Credential (CGBP) and is an accredited CGBP Trainer as well as an Entrepreneurial Mindset Facilitator.
Prof. Grant spent approximately 20 years working for small and medium size manufacturing companies that produced scuba gear, home fragrance products, women’s fashion and cosmetics. She spent her career in industry working as an export coordinator, import manager, and director of international markets. Her hands-on experience in exporting and importing/ sales and marketing provided the opportunity for her to travel throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, India, Canada, Mexico, South America, Australia & New Zealand.
Prof. Grant earned her MBA from the Claremont Graduate Schools and her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Business from the University of San Diego
