How much does it cost to attend Santa Ana College?
Currently SAC charges $46 per credit unit for California state residents. Fees are higher for out-of-state and international students. Fees are subject to change. You can find out more about tuition and fees here: https://sac.edu/StudentServices/AdmissionsRecords/Pages/Fees-and-Refunds.aspx

Do you offer online courses?
We try to schedule as many of these courses either as an online, hybrid or evening course as many students interested in these certificates tend to work full time during the day. One thing to keep in mind - some of the courses listed in this certificate reside outside of Accounting & Business Administration department. The modality (online or not) for those courses are set by different departments that are out of our control.
I have taken accounting and business courses at another college or university; can you tell me which courses I still need to take?
While SAC has designed the certificates to help students determine what courses count towards the educational requirement for CPA licensure, we cannot review transcripts from other schools and opine on behalf of the California Board of Accountancy (CBA) about classes taken elsewhere. We are happy to answer any questions about classes offered at Santa Ana College and their suitability for meeting educational requirements.
CBA has a few resources to help you figure out what courses may be remaining for your educational requirements.
The first resource they offer is a “tip sheet" that shows the typical courses that count towards educational requirements. That tip sheet can be found here: https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/applicants/tip_sheet.pdf
The second resource they offer is a worksheet that allows you to input what courses you have already taken to best determine what units are remaining. That worksheet can be found here: https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/applicants/self-assess-wrksheet.pdf They also have an example of a filled-out worksheet – see that here: https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/applicants/self-assess-er.shtml
Once you have filled out your self-assessment worksheet and have determined what areas you still need units in, SAC faculty are more than happy to advise regarding what courses at Santa Ana College would fulfill your remaining obligation.
