      Study the basics of Information Technology. This program can be your first step in your career pathway to IT. Succeed in today’s digital world by using and maintaining computers and technology. Gain essential skills through communication and problem-solving.​

      Get hands-on training with computer components and operating systems. Learn to assemble, disassemble, service, troubleshoot, and upgrade computer systems. Learn soft skills to help in any IT environment. If you are looking for a job in the IT field, this certificate is for you! ​​​


      ​​Course Requirements
      ​Students must pass the following TWO courses:

      VBUS 570 - Information Technology (IT) Basics Tier 1
      VBUS 572 - Information Technology (IT) Basics Tier 2

      Students must pass ONE of the following courses:
      VBUS 243 - Introduction to Customer Service Skills 
      VBUS 400 - Employability Skills
      ESL 520 - English for Work 2
