​​​​​Overview​​​

​In this course, you will learn about​​​ the fundamental operations of OCTA buses, how to do a pre-trip inspection, ​safety procedures, behind-the-wheel training, commercial permit preparation, and application guidance with OCTA. Students will also learn study skills to better prepare them for the Commercial Learner's Permit​ test and customer service skills which are essential in the field. ​​​ Become an important part of what keeps Orange County moving as you help others reach their destinations safely. ​​​ Note: Students are not obligated to pursue employment with OCTA upon completion of the program.  ​​​ ​OCTA Job Outlook:​ ​Starting pay: $22.37​​​ Drivers may also ​earn a $3,000 hiring bonus​​​ ​ ​
