On October 13th, Continuing Education hosted a Mental Health Awareness event. This brought together community organizations and college partners at Centennial Education Center. Students had the chance to meet one-on-one with representatives from SAAHAS for Cause, Latino Health Access, Families Together of Orange County, the SAC Wellness Center, and Rising Scholars.

These conversations allowed attendees to ask questions, explore resources, and learn about services that could benefit them and their families. A wellness coloring activity offered an opportunity to relax and connect with others. The introduction of BetterMynd helped raise awareness of a new online counseling resource available to students. By bringing these services directly to campus, students could connect with providers and learn where to turn for mental health support. A big thank you to professor Joanna McNerney and all the faculty who collaborated to make this event possible!
