VHLTH 240 - Community Health Worker Orientation
Learn what you need to finish a certificate in the Community Health Worker Program. Gain a better understanding of the profession. See how the program prepares you with the skills needed to be a community health worker. This orientation also shows must be completed to enroll in courses to complete the certification.
Certificate Overview
A Community Health Worker certificate prepares you to help people access health care. You will practice outreach, health education, and resource navigation. Gain experience performing community health worker duties. This includes health screenings, home visits, translation, and connecting clients to local resources.
