“The support we've received so far is incredible!” says Andrea Picchi, Dean of Kinesiology, Health & Athletics at Santa Ana College. “Our loyal supporters, alumni and members of our community value the work we do in this department and at the college. That support and relationships allows us to continue the work, grow our programs and increase student success. A record-breaking year is the goal we have set for the 2025 Ed Arnold Golf Classic and our strong team of supporters will help us in achieving this. Go Dons!"
As with many college campuses, SAC's athletics Program play an important role shaping the student experience of the entire college and creating a sense of pride and shared identity. For athletes themselves, playing a sport not only fosters mentorship and builds community, but can also lead to greater academic success. The funds raised at next year's Ed Arnold Golf Classic will make a direct impact—supporting capital improvements, providing better equipment, and funding high-impact transfer scholarships for deserving student-athletes.
Next year's Ed Arnold Golf Classic is set for May 5, 2025 , and SACF is looking forward to its most impactful year yet.
“The momentum for another record-breaking year is well underway, and since the event is on Cinco de Mayo, we plan to make it a super fun day for everyone involved," says SACF Executive Director Christina Romero. “With even more support, we can take this tournament to the next level, ensuring that it has a lasting impact on the lives of many more student-athletes. Plus, it's a lot of fun."
